openCRX QuickStart Installation & Configuration

The goal of this workshop is the design of an openCRX installation together with your IT staff, custom-tailered to the specific needs of your production environment. You choose the application server (e.g. BEA Weblogic, IBM WebShpere, JBoss) and the database management system (e.g. Oracle, DB/2, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird, MaxDB) and we tailor the workshop to your needs. For small production environments the workshop can be done in 1 day, for larger production environments with clustered application/DB servers you should expect a multi-day workshop. We have workshop rooms available in Zurich or we can hold the workshop on-site depending on your preferences.

openCRX QuickStart Development

It is the goal of this workshop to establish an openCRX development platform together with your developers, custom-tailered to the specific needs of your development environment. You choose the hardware, operating system, application server (e.g. BEA Weblogic, IBM WebShpere, JBoss) and the database management system (e.g. Oracle, DB/2, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, Firebird, MaxDB) and we tailor the workshop to your needs. For small development environments the workshop can be done in 2 to 3 days, for larger and more complex setups you should expect a multi-day workshop (5 days or more). We have workshop rooms available in Zurich or we can hold the workshop on-site depending on your preferences.

openCRX QuickStart Customizing

We teach your customizer(s) all the "tricks of the trade":

• User Interface Customizing (user defined fields, change the screen layout, forms, etc.)
• Code Tables (extend existing code tables, create new code tables, etc.)
• Integration with Microsoft Word (templates for mail merge, mass mailings, quotes and invoices, etc.)
• Integration with Microsoft Excel (reporting, templates for quotes and invoices, etc.)
• Multi-Language Customizing (learn how to support additional languages - please consult the openCRX website for a list of currently supported languages)
